Securing The Future, One Seminarian At A Time
Currently, the diocese is blessed to have one of the largest seminarian classes in recent history. This presents a welcomed challenge, as it costs approximately $50,000 to educate one seminarian each year, which includes: tuition, room and board, health insurance, medical needs, a modest monthly stipend, the cost of books, travel, and retreat fees. The diocese is fully supporting 58 seminarians studying for our diocese.
As more and more men answer the call to the priesthood, the diocese is pro-actively looking to build an endowment to ensure that resources are available for future classes.
